First Look

The SHOX BB4? Feels like they've scaled it back a bit. The design's not as punchy as the new stuff, and it takes time to break in. The forefoot's ZOOM is noticeable after a day's walk, but the back Shox is just plain hard.

The style and build are average – a slight tweak to a flatter look. They're okay, nothing flashy. It's typical Nike, but I'm still buying it. It's Carter's classic, and I don't want to miss out while I can still play.

Game Time

I'm 176cm and 73kg. On court, these shoes keep you grounded. The ZOOM in the forefoot needs warming up, but it's good once it gets going. They're stable and secure for any move, but the rear Shox? Hard as ever. The shoes are a bit heavy and not the best for airflow, but they fit great – snug and make your legs look good.

Final Thoughts

Buying these is all about nostalgia. If you like 'em, go for it. If not, no big deal. For us true fans, Carter's classics hold a special place.
